NZCAM for Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams picks up NZCAM as a standard camera and microphone, with no special integration required on Teams' side, in work accounts and in Teams Free alike.

Set it up in Microsoft Teams

  1. Start NZCAM and go live.
  2. In Teams, open Settings → Devices and select "NZCAM" as your camera.
  3. Select "CABLE Output" as your microphone.
  4. Join your Teams meeting or call.

Does NZCAM work in Teams Free, where Skype users moved?

Yes. Microsoft retired Skype on 5 May 2025 and moved its users to Teams Free, which lets you choose a camera and microphone like any other version of Teams.
