Live voice translation on video calls: how it works, in every app

Speak your language, and the person on the call hears theirs, spoken, through their normal audio. No interpreter, no captions to read, nothing for them to install. NZCAM's call translator does it from your side of the call, in every app.

How it works

  1. Recognition. NZCAM understands your speech in 57 languages.
  2. Translation. It translates into 63 languages and regional variants: Spanish for Mexico or Spain, English for the US or the UK, simplified or traditional Chinese, and more.
  3. Speech. It speaks the translation in a natural voice, or in your own cloned voice, so they hear you.

The speech goes into NZCAM's microphone, CABLE Output. Every call app sees an ordinary microphone, which is why it works in Zoom, Teams, Meet, Discord, WhatsApp and every other app.

Any PC

Any PC runs it. The cloud engine does the heavy work, so even a small, low-powered laptop with no graphics card works perfectly.

Your own voice

Load a short clip of yourself and choose it as the translation voice: the other side hears you, speaking their language. Or pick a natural voice, female or male, that sounds right in every language.

Setup

Choose the language you speak and the language they should hear, press Go live, and pick CABLE Output as the microphone in the call app. Run the face swap in the same session if you like.

Better than captions

Captions are text to read, and only some apps have them. NZCAM's translation is spoken, works in every app, and the other person simply listens.
