GPU support
A dedicated GPU is recommended for the smoothest real-time performance; lighter presets keep NZCAM usable on modest hardware.
| Vendor | Acceleration | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| NVIDIA | CUDA + TensorRT | Best real-time performance, especially with TensorRT acceleration. |
| AMD | DirectML (Windows) / ROCm (Linux) | Full GPU acceleration on supported cards. |
| Intel | DirectML (iGPU/Arc) | Works on integrated graphics with lighter presets. |
| Apple Silicon | CoreML | macOS build (in development). |
| CPU only | Fallback | Works, but not recommended for real-time; a dedicated GPU is strongly advised. |
Self-contained
NZCAM ships its own Python runtime, acceleration stack and all AI models; your machine only needs an up-to-date GPU driver, nothing else to install. It runs fully offline once installed; a connection is used only for one-time activation and silent updates.
