Changelog

What changed in each release of NZCAM, newest first. The app updates itself; the current version is 1.1.1.

NZCAM 1.1.1

  • Chat with us on Telegram or WhatsApp, right from the bottom of the app.
  • A new Voice sample window: trim, cut and erase parts of your voice clip, then use it straight away.
  • A smoother picture on the cloud engine, even when you change settings mid-session.
  • Voice cloning on this PC starts on more computers and makes fuller use of your voice sample.
  • Windows 10 computers get everything they need from the installer; Setup asks for permission once, right at the start, then finishes on its own.

NZCAM 1.0.9

  • Voice cloning on this PC is checked on every build before it ships.
  • One voice sample, shown the same way everywhere and kept across updates; pick a new sample mid-session and NZCAM switches to it.
  • Cloud cloning starts on its own as soon as its cloud worker is ready.
  • Live translation catches you from the first word, in a natural voice or your own.
  • Sign in with your browser; Auto top-up lets you choose the balance at which it tops up.

NZCAM 1.0.8

  • Windows 10 gets the virtual camera: a new NZCAM camera that works in every call app, including 32-bit ones.
  • Portrait (vertical) output on Windows 10 and 11: switch it on under Advanced Settings and pick NZCAM Portrait in your call app.
  • The camera is installed once for the whole PC, and your video stays private to your own Windows account.
  • Cloud voice cloning on NZCAM Lite runs on NZCAM's own GPU workers in real time; the full edition can clone on this PC or on the cloud.
  • Auto-update runs silently and relaunches the app; both installers carry version and publisher information and uninstall cleanly.
